For those who use Twitter to meet new people

Okay, we all have them - What are some of your Beefs with Social Networking?

Hopefully this won't turn into a total Andy Rooney Rap session, but it'd be good to get some of those little(or big) things that bug us about social networks and how people act on them out in the open and possibly avoid such issues here.

So out with it, what are those beefs?

P.S. I'd start this off, but instead I will now have mercy upon you all and shut up!

Great points although I do feel there is some exceptions based on just what the network is supposed to be about. I'm a member of 6 nings unless I'm forgetting any, and probably about10 bigger networks of which I could stand to remove my membership from most! These days my time just gets more scarce, I joined Lindy's Team Circle network a couple weeks back already with intentions of at least poking around to see what it was about but haven't donbe so well...Lol...doesn't help I've gotten side-tracked with real life and taking on an admin position on another network...

Anyways, it might be good to share our ideas for basic daily action guidlines?

First off, I strongly agree with you Lindy...MOST Networks do not spring up out of need, but more likely out of GREED.

The other opportunity I was getting at was the opportunity all the memvbers of this network have to create a quality enviroment people will actually want to visit! I have seen to many friends just simpy give up in sheer exasperation over spam, rudeness and petty BS to cite a few 'common' problems among so-called social networks. In my mind, twittergogetters definitely stands out as one of the best I have ever joined and, based on what I have seen so far I believe it will only get better!

In my mind, one of the greatest pleasures of being a member of a great social network is the ability to stop by and join in lively, open-minded and thought-provokative discussion...

So there you have it, my idea of a couple of possible 'opportunities', both which involve Standing Out from the crowd!....does anyone see another one?; ▶ Reply to This
