Where were you when Obama was elected?

I'm an Aussie and yet I too was swept up by the sheer emotion of today's election result. Reading all the wonderful and positive tweets on Twitter's Election2008 page would make even the most cynical and jaded person full of hope. Witnessing history was awesome!

A better world? To quote John Lennon from "Imagine":

"You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one.

I hope one day you'll join us,
and the world will live as ONE"
