3. Direct - This is a message that only the person you @username gets.

When you download Tweetdeck, it gives you three columns on the one page. One for all messages from people you are following, one for replies from people to your messages and one for direct messages from people to you. It's very useful and saves you going back and forward, as it updates automatically and notifies you of how many tweets have been. A tweet is a posting.

My advice to you is to download a program called Tweetdeck. There is a video on the site about how to use it once you download it. It just makes the whole twitter process so much easier. It's a free program that you can search up in Google.
